The Ladybug House empowers young African American girls to become confident, resilient, and future-ready leaders. We achieve this by fostering a safe and inclusive space where they can thrive, explore their potential, and overcome challenges.

Empowerment: We believe in the power of girls to learn, grow, and achieve their goals. We provide the tools and resources they need to thrive.
Mentorship: We foster meaningful connections between young girls and accomplished Black women who serve as role models, mentors, and confidantes.
Holistic Growth: We address the academic, social, and emotional needs of young girls, focusing on building self-esteem, resilience, and effective communication skills.
Community: We partner with families, schools, and the broader community to support the success of young African American girls.
Academic Support and Mentorship: We offer after-school programs with homework help, tutoring, and guidance from successful Black women who serve as role models and mentors.
Holistic Development: We address the academic, social, and emotional needs of young girls, focusing on building self-esteem, resilience, mental well-being, effective communication skills, and career exploration.
Empowering Outreach: We actively engage with the community through school visits, open forums, and sponsored events, sparking important conversations, and raising awareness about the unique challenges faced by young girls of color.
